Orcas Island Library District
Financial Reports to State Auditor

Each year the Orcas Island Library District submits reports to Washington State governmental agencies.

Pursuant to RCW 43.09.230, the Library transmits to the Washington State Auditor's Office financial reports covering the full period of each fiscal year. These reports are prepared, certified, and filed with the state auditor within one hundred fifty days after the close of each fiscal year.

Additionally, the Library communicates to the Washington State Library an annual report on the "State of the Library". This report contains previous and current year quantitative information on the Library's activities in such areas as circulation, collection development, information access, income and expenses, and programming.
